ANDREW FOGNANI

​

Andrew Fognani was born in Denver, Colorado. After receiving a degree in finance with intensive accounting from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina, he decided to pursue his lifelong dream to work in the entertainment industry. While in Los Angeles he discovered another aspiration to become a Mixed Martial Artist. He moved to Thailand to study the art of “Muay Thai” along with a number of other styles and went on to win a gold medal at the 2007 Southeast Asian Grappling Games in Bangkok, Thailand. After suffering injuries and undergoing major surgeries, his pursuit to become a fighter came to an end.

 

Fognani then decided to combine his business acumen with his artistic talent to start the production company Unfiltered Productions. This sparked the making of Reign, which made the festival circuit winning Best Short and Audience Choice Awards at the New York International Independent Film Festival (NYIIFF), the Louisville International Festival of Film (LIFF) and qualified for Academy Award Consideration among others. He continued to hone his craft acting and producing working on various projects over the years.

  

Currently he is creating and producing various projects indluding feature films and TV shows in different stages of development under Unfiltered Productions, including two food/travel shows. He is also an entrepreneur launching a tech start-up company in Denver and looking to open up a couple of restaurants in the future.

 

Fognani’s passions have led him around the world, where he is constantly humbled by the diversity life has to offer. A love for family, friends, the outdoors, fitness, food, music, thrill seeking and much more, allowing him to live life fully, while enjoying the journey.

SIMON CARMODY

Simon Carmody was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, where he worked as an advertising-stills photographer until moving to New Orleans in 2001. While working at Côte Blanche Productions as an editor and second unit director, Simon’s credits include: The Man Who Came Back, 2007 (editor, 2nd unit director), feature length, Southern-Gothic Western; American Creole: New Orleans reunion 2006 (editor), a nationally broadcast, PBS feature-length documentary (winner; silver & bronze Telly awards).

In 2008 Simon attended the American Film Institute's MFA Editing program. Since graduating in 2010, Simon has collaborated on various feature films, television and new media projects, including, Restoring Tomorrow, 2016 (editor, Co-Producer), feature length documentary. Tar, 2017 (editor, Co-Producer) Horror-comedy feature.

Simon now lives, & works, as a storyteller in Hollywood, California.
